Booking Conditions
This contract is
between the hirer and "Laura Ashworth trading as Peterwell Lets"
(herein after referred to as PL) and shall be subject to these
conditions of hire. The contract is not effective until PL
dispatches to the hirer written / e-mail confirmation of the
booking.
The hirer certifies that he/she agrees the booking conditions
for all members of their party.
The use of the accommodation and amenities at Peterwell House is
entirely at the users risk and no responsibility can be accepted
for injury and loss or damage to users or their belongings. We
do not seek to exclude or limit liability for the negligence of
PL or its servants.
No responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to
belongings or vehicles; this is the hirers responsibility at all
times.
The hirer is responsible for the property and its contents and
is expected to take all reasonable care of it, ensuring that it
is left clean and tidy on departure.
Any damage or breakage is the legal responsibility of the hirer
and items must either be replaced or their replacement cost refunded.
Any additional cleaning costs incurred due to mistreatment of
the property will be charged to the hirer, together with any
resultant "loss of business" costs (ie if the cleaning / drying
process resulting from mistreatment renders the accommodation
"unfit for purpose" on the days following departure, the hirer
will be charged for loss of business on those days)
Under no circumstances may more than the agreed maximum number
of persons occupy the property. PL reserves the right to refuse
admittance, or terminate the hire, if this condition is not
strictly observed. PL also reserves the right to refuse to
accept bookings of parties consisting solely of young adults.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all members of their
party adhere to the "No Smoking" policy within the property. PL
reserves the right to terminate the hire, if this condition is
not strictly observed.
If the hirer is not entirely satisfied with the accommodation,
the owners must be informed immediately; no discussions can be
entered into after the end of the rental period.
Any unresolved dispute shall be referred to the jurisdiction of
the English Courts only and be governed by English Law and
interpretation.
Cancellation Policy
Should the hirer have to cancel a booking of 1 or 2 nights, the
hirer must notify PL by phone at least 7 days prior to arrival
date (to provide sufficient time to find a replacement booking). PL reserves the right to charge the hirer the full rental charge
if this condition is not adhered to, or a replacement booking
cannot be found.
Should the hirer
have to cancel a booking of 3 or more nights, the hirer must
notify PL by phone at least 30 days prior to arrival date (to
provide sufficient time to find a replacement booking).
PL reserves the right to charge the hirer the full rental charge
if this condition is not adhered to, or a replacement booking
cannot be found. |
