Access Statement for Valley View

Peterwell House is on the outskirts of Lampeter, approached off the A475 road. The centre of town is a 10 minute walk along footpaths with a slight incline. Bus services are available in town, which link to the nearest train services in Carmarthen or Aberystwyth.

The house is accessed via double wooden gates which lead onto a large tarmac area which is used for parking and reversing. The remainder of the grounds are rough paddock used for grazing.

Valley View is accessed via a 120mm step up onto a concreted verandah and through double patio doors (960mm wide with a 90mm step up).

The doors open into a lounge area (3m x 3m) with seating for two and television / video.

Access to the kitchen area (3m x 2m), which has free standing mini oven / microwave / fridge / toaster / kettle, is via a 740mm wide door from the lounge.

Access to the bedroom (3m x 4m), with either twin or king size bed, is via a 760mm wide door from the kitchen.

Access to the bathroom (2.7m x 0.9m), with toilet, hand basin and shower, is via a 710mm wide door from the bedroom. Access to the shower is via 400mm sliding doors with a 270mm step up. 

All rooms have stripped and varnished floorboards (other than the bathroom which has vinyl).

All rooms have both natural and task lighting.
