Access
Statement for the Blue Room
Peterwell House is
on the outskirts of Lampeter, approached off the A475 road. The centre of town
is a 10 minute walk along footpaths with a slight incline. Bus services are
available in town, which link to the nearest train services in Carmarthen or
Aberystwyth.
The house is
accessed via double wooden gates which lead onto a large tarmac area which is
used for parking and reversing. The remainder of the grounds are rough paddock
used for grazing.
The Blue Room
(4.8m x 4m) is accessed via a 180mm step up into a tiled porch through a 850mm
wide door, with a further 160mm step up into the main house through a 880mm wide
door.
18 carpeted stairs
(with handrail) lead up to the bedroom, with Four Poster Double Bed. Access to
the bedroom is via a 790mm wide door.
Access to the
bathroom (2.2m x 2m), with toilet, hand basin and bath is via a
720mm wide door from the bedroom.
Breakfast is
served in our ground floor dining room which is accessed via a 790mm wide door.
All rooms have
stripped and varnished floorboards (other than the bathroom which has vinyl).
All rooms have
both natural and task lighting.
